Funding Award

McIndoe’s Guinea Pigs Memorial Trust are delighted to announce that they have agreed to fund £7,500 to Mr Kavit Amin of University Hospital of South Manchester. The goal of the project is to develop a medical device that can extend the preservation time of amputated tissues from the current limit of hours through to days. If successful the research results could translate to NHS front line practice within five years.
